Sri Lanka made a remarkable presence at the World Trade Market (WTM) held in London from the 1st to the 3rd of November 2021. Sri Lanka Tourism Chairperson Kimarli Fernando and some of the industry leaders were present at the launch of Sri Lanka Pavilion at WTM which was filled with vibrance and culture along with the essence of Sri Lanka.

Kandy (Sinhala: මහනුවර Mahanuwara, About this soundpronounced (help·info) [mahanuʋərə]; Tamil: கண்டி Kandy, About this soundpronounced (help·info) [ˈkaɳɖi]) is a major city in Sri Lanka located in the Central Province. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka.The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988. Historically the local Buddhist rulers resisted Portuguese, Dutch, and British colonial expansion and occupation.

Location style and friendliness.
I spent over a week here and could not of choosen a better place. Five minutes walk to beach and Wellawatta Train Station. Spotless, airconditioned rooms. Eating here is divine. The restaurant serves
an awesome breakfast and you can ask for anything to be made.
