The Glasshouse Victoria is simply 7 minutes from the Victoria Golf Retreat. Before Donald Steel mapped these eighteen holes against the Knuckles Mountain Range, it was a historic coconut plantation, a sprawling landscape defined by thousands of towering palms, working colonial bungalows, and deep agricultural quiet.

When the fairways were sculpted, the architectural team intentionally preserved the original contours of the old estate. Today, you aren’t just playing through a world-class, Award winning, championship golf course which is the most scenic in South East Asia; you are walking the heritage lines of old Ceylon, where the fairways dip exactly where the old plantation tracks once ran.

We recently had a resident Red-whiskered Bulbul give birth to chicks. As a team who cares, we were tempted to pamper them, but we stayed away as we did not want to disturb them.​
