We are a small boutique hostel located in the beautiful city of Galle, Sri Lanka. Just a couple minutes away from the bus and train stop you have access to amazing places such as the Galle Fort, local fruit and fish market and many more wonderful places to visit just a few minutes away by feet. The hostel was built in the 1960s was known as The American Home of China Garden along with one of the f

irst Ice Cream Factory establishments in Sri Lanka which is sadly closed down. You will see many cool handmade items and handmade furniture by our lovely home owner. You will also find a lot of important, valuable and money saving tips for your travel in Sri Lanka. Come unpack and unwind at our small and beautiful hostel and see the amazing pearl island of the Indian Ocean!

Ayubowan! The Galle Fort Saturday Market show cases many homemade and handcrafted items that people simply fall in love with. The prices are very reasonable and cheaper than other markets plus they are very cute. The people at the market are very friendly and will help you with anything so don't forget to stop by them during your tour in the Galle Fort. @ Galle

Ayubowan! The Mahamodara beach is located only a few minutes drive away from the Galle City. There are a very few small shops along the beach and not many people roaming around. We would say that this is the perfect place to go to if you were searching for a peaceful and quite beach time. The weather right now is amazing so we would definitely recommend you to take your sunscreen and maybe an umbrella so you wouldn't get burnt. Learn about more amazing places like this during your stay at our hostel. @ Galle

Get your on during your stay at 🤘🏾
Only 05 mins bus ride from the Galle for 12 rupees per person, chill at the beach and make your surffing fantasies come true. The beach is not crowded during the morning and the waves are great. Its around LKR 300 to rent a surf board from MSP Surf School and you can take some classes as well (2000 per person for one hour). Make sure you tell you are staying at our hostel to get that special rate. @ Devatta, Sri Lanka

Bentota beach is the perfect location for and for some 🏖️
Not like many other places, you wouldn't find many tourists or locals at the beach (specially during the morning and noon times). The beach does get crowded a bit during the evening and also all day long on the weekends. We advice you to visit the Bentota beach during the morning for that peace and quite time at the beach that you have been wanting during your vacation in . About an hour away from our hostel you can travel by bus for LKR 70 in the morning and get back before noon. Buses leave every 15 mins so you wouldn't have trouble fining a ride. @ Bentota

Experience the famous in Sri Lanka. 🎣
It is a dying tradition and some of the fisherman sadly do it just for pictures which they would charge the tourist for it. If you stroll along the of Koggala to Waligama you might find some genuine fisherman.
Hop on to the Galle - Matara bus and get off Koggala. Fare would be just LKR 35 per person. Take a walk towards Matara and you will find spots along the coast where these fisherman will be doing their thing. @ Koggala, Sri Lanka

Go on an adventure to The Elephant Kingdom, 🐘
Only LKR 250 in the bus, you get the opportunity to see wild roaming in the park.
For those who are concerned about the animals, don't worry the safari jeeps don't chase the elephants from what we experienced and also the drivers were very careful when driving as well.

Beaches make your body, mind and soul .. Don't you agree? 🏖️ We love this spot simply because they got a long beach and warm waves that make your worries just wash away.
beach is just a 10 minute ride by bus from our hostel and a recommended beach if you are in Galle for a couple of days and want experience the beautiful blue Indian Ocean. You will only pay Rs. 25 to get to the beach 🤩
