Karuna Villa Galle KARUNA villa is a serene and spacious three-story holiday home less than 15min from the beaches of Thalpe or Unawatuna and 25min from the Dutch Galle Fort

This luxury three-bedroom villa is bursting with tropical colors and has a tasteful modern interior with lots of local antiques surrounded by lush green outdoors. The interior has a tropical modernist style giving it an elegant look. The spacious design is making the indoors very cool. The high ceilings and large windows in the property bring a lot of natural light and ventilation. All rooms have

ceiling fans. In the garden is a Bali-style pavilion for a massage (call-in) or simply to hangout in the evening under a lantern or the moon. The holiday home is fantastic if you are a family or group that prefers to be surrounded by nature while having the comfort of a large and elegant home, but still a tuk tuk drive from the beaches. The staff can call you a local tuk tuk to travel around, but you can also rent our two TREK mountain bikes. A bus station with buses to the beautiful Dutch Galle Fort is 5min walk away. Car rental with or without driver and transport from/to airport (three hours via A2 expressway from Colombo) could be organized upon request. Cost will be without mark-ups. The property is also within a short drive to the Unawatuna train station from which you can ride to Galle, Weligama or Colombo. There is a snug kitchen with an oven-island (gas) and a traditional clay oven in the backyard. You will be served a tropical breakfast daily of your choice. During the day or in the evening you could opt for home cooked meals with fresh fruit and vegetables juices prepared by our housekeeper (cost of food without mark-ups). If available, organic produce from our backyard or Ayurveda herb garden will be used. You may also decide to cook by yourself. The kitchen is fully equipped for celebrating bold flavours and healthy meals. There is a large table in the living room, but you could also enjoy your drinks or meals al-fresco on the terrace.
