Our Story

Located 100 Km away from Colombo and 5km in land from famous Hikkaduwa beach and city center where its called Gonapinuwala, a village which is famous for cultivation, “Villa Kubura” is an Traditional Sri Lankan house located on shores of Kubura. “Kubura“is the Sinhala meaning of paddy field which acts a main role in Sri Lankan culture. Villa front is a kubura which runs far and make you feel you are in front of a green velvet.

Villa Kubura has four luxury large bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The bedrooms, lobby, sitting area and the balcony is equipped with traditional Sri Lankan furniture and even the statues and wall hangings though decades old. Bathrooms has amenities extracted by Sri Lankan herbs.

The pool is designed according to the ancient Sri Lankan structure of Kings Bath which is called “pokuna” with pavilion. And the huge lawn in front of the villa has enough space for a small function.

Dining Area and kitchen is ready to serve Sri Lankan traditional recipes, Sea food menus from fresh fish brought from Hikkaduwa harbor and organic vegetables with rice from surrounding area. BBQ can be arranged.
