Having opened in the middle of December 2016, KK Beach is a contemporary and stylish beachfront boutique hotel near Habaraduwa, just 12km from Galle. Having built up an International reputation at Kahanda Kanda, the owner, George Cooper, has turned his attention to the stunning Sri Lankan coastline. He identified the need for a stylish but affordable beachfront hotel, which offers delicious food,
as well as superbly comfortable accommodation. The two properties will work in conjunction with each other, whilst being quite different in many ways. There will be free shuttle service between the two hotels and there will be holiday packages for guests, to stay at both hotels. What will remain the same will be the quality of the product, the level of service offered to guest and the continuing attention to detail. There are ten fabulous air-conditioned individual rooms, all with ocean front views. The contemporary style includes full height/full width sliding glass panels facing the ocean, affording the guest uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean, supremely comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms. The Ground Floor has the restaurant (which is open to non-residents) and the Living Room and Bar. All this is decorated in a fresh exuberant style and the walls display an ever-changing display of art by Sri Lankan artists – all of which is for sale. Between the main building and the ocean is situated the swimming pool, with plenty of sun-beds for guests to relax and enjoy their day on the beach. Location
