Sri Lanka reveals its magic in the small moments 📸💙

Many of our guests are currently trying to return home after their holiday in Sri Lanka.

Some of them have been stranded here since February 28th. 🤯

Unfortunately, it has been extremely difficult to get assistance from the Airlines after cancelled flights!!

SriLankan Airlines are not even answering calls and we have been unable to get in touch with anyone who can help our guests.

And why can they not give more people new flights direct CMB-LON ?

With Qatar Airways , the situation has not been much better.
👎👎👎👎

No response, no help to rebook.
No initiative to get people home without flying into their base in Qatar 🥲

It is very disappointing to observe how difficult it is for passengers to receive help when they need it the most!

Not everyone can afford to suddenly pay USD 3000+ for new tickets just to avoid flying through the Gulf region.

Travel disruptions happen, but passengers deserve clear communication and proper support from the airlines.

Snorkelling is a great activity: low-cost, safe, stress-relieving and excellent exercise 💙

Go explore Hikkaduwa below the surface… but PLEASE help protect this beautiful underwater world:

Where to swim, snorkel & surf in Hikkaduwa 🏖️🐠

Hikkaduwa has beautiful beaches, but conditions change with waves, currents and seasons.

The good news? It’s one of the most swimming-friendly places on Sri Lanka’s south coast 🌴

Best areas:
• Coral Beach – calm water, snorkelling, fish & turtles 🐢
• Turtle Beach – early mornings for turtles and clear water (mid day too much people here!)
• Narigama Beach – best for surfing, playing in the waves, and funswimming too 🏄‍♀️
• Dodanduwa / Kumarakanda – quieter, calmer spots away from the crowds 🤫

⚠️ Always check daily conditions, look for red flags and ask locals or hotel staff before swimming

✔️ Beast time: Early morning (7–9 am)
✔️ Best season: December to April
