We marked Earth Hour on 28th March not just by switching off the lights, but by reconnecting with what truly matters.

At 8:30 PM, as the world dimmed for 60 minutes, we embraced a conscious pause to reflect on our impact on the planet. For us, it became an experience shaped by intention, simplicity, and sustainability.

We created a specially curated set menu using only ingredients sourced from the East Coast — reducing our carbon footprint while supporting local ecosystems and communities.

Under candlelight, with the ocean as our backdrop, it became more than just a dinner. It was a reminder that small, mindful choices, when made together, can create a lasting impact.

For us, Earth Hour wasn’t just an hour. It was a commitment.

This month, we celebrate the art of mixology through Ajith’s journey—who joined in October 2025 as Bar Supervisor and has since grown into his role as Assistant Bar Manager through constant learning and inspiration. Welcoming guests from around the world, the bar experience is driven by personalization, with unique cocktails often crafted to individual preferences alongside a thoughtfully curated menu. Blending creativity with local soul, the cocktail selection features ten signature creations using traditional Sri Lankan ingredients such as karapincha, lime, and lemongrass, along with cocktails crafted using Sri Lankan arrack, while also offering classic international favourites and refreshing, healthier blends with ingredients like kotugola and green apple. Each drink concoction reflects passion, skill, and a deep respect for both global and local flavours.
