Victoria Guest House is a family business led by Mercy John, a woman with a sense of entrepreneurship instilled in her from her mother. Since 2011, the guest house has been welcoming guests from around the world and maintaining utmost customer satisfaction, with the support of her dedicated staff and supportive husband.
Originally, Mercy started this business to provide affordable stays yet in comfortable and elegant rooms in Pasikuda, a tourist’s favorite destination. While doing so, she also aimed to contribute to the aesthetic, the culture and well-being of the residents. Thus, she received in 2012 a recognition certificate from National Geographic ‘s Eastern Sri Lanka Geotourism Program.
