World Tourism Day 2026 | CLEAN KANDY

At The Radh Hotel, we were proud to join the Kandy Hoteliers Association – “Clean Kandy” initiative and do our part to keep our beautiful city clean.

Together with fellow hoteliers and associates, we collected an impressive 106 kg of waste:

- 81 kg Polythene & Plastic
- 20 kg Glass
- 5 kg Cardboard & Cans

It was a small way for our team to give back to the city we are so proud to call home. Because when we care for our destination, we help create a better place for everyone who lives, works and travels here.

Kandy was the last kingdom to fall — 1815, after two thousand years of Sinhalese kings. It didn't fall easily, and it didn't forget.

The forest above the palace was closed to everyone but royalty. A king gave his own audience hall to a temple, and its pillars still stand. A royal garden became a botanical one.
