ඇසළ පොහොය දින පණිවිඩය
අද උතුම් ඇසළ පොහොය දිනයයි. තුන්ලෝකාග්ර වූ අප මහා සම්මා සම්බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ සම්බුද්ධ චරිතයෙහි එන වැදගත් සිදුවීම් රාශියක් සිදු ව ඇති ඇසළ පොහොය දිනය ලොව පුරා වෙසෙන සුවහසක් බෞද්ධ ජනතාවට ඉතාමත් වැදගත් පොහොය දිනයකි.
සිදුහත් බෝසතාණන් වහන්සේ පස් මහ බැලුම් බැලීමෙන් අනතුරුව, මිනිස් ලොව උපදිනු පිණිස මහමායා දේවියගේ කුස තුළ පිළිසිඳගන්නේ අද වන් දිනක ය. එමෙන් ම වසර විසි නවයක් පුරා වින්දා වූ සියලු සැප සම්පත් අත් හළ සිදුහත් කුමරා ගිහි ජීවිතය පිළිබඳව කලකිරී මහාභිනිෂ්ක්රමණය කරන්නේ ද රාහුල කුමරුන්ගේ උපත සිදුවන්නේ ද අද වන් දිනක ය.
එයින් සය වසරකට පසුව ලොව්තුරා සම්මා සම්බුද්ධත්වයට පත් වන බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ, තමන් වහන්සේගේ ප්රථම ධර්ම දේශනාව වන ' ධම්මචක්ක පවත්තන සූත්රය' ඉසිපතනයේ මිගදායේදී පස්වග මහණුන් අරභයා දේශනා කරන්නේ ද තීර්ථක මානය බිඳහෙළනු වස් සැවැත් නුවර ගන්ධබ්බ අඹ රුක මුල යමා මහ පෙළහර පා වදාළේ ද, තමන් වහන්සේගේ උපතින් සත් වන දවස කලුරිය කර මාතෘ දිව්ය රාජයා ලෙසින් තව්තිසා දෙව් ලොව උපන් එ කල තම මෑණියන් වහන්සේ ප්රමුඛ දිව්ය සමූහයාට අභිධර්මය දේශනා කරන ලද්දේ ද ඇසළ පොහොය දිනයක වීම විශේෂත්වයකි.
සම්බුද්ධ පරිනිර්වාණයෙන් තුන් මසකට පසුව පළමු ධර්ම සංගායනාව පැවැත්වෙන්නේ ද, අප මහා සම්මා සම්බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ ද්රෝණයක් ධාතූන් වහන්සේලා වැඩ සිටින රුවන්වැලි මහා සෑය සඳහා මුල්ගල පිහිටුවන්නේ ද, ක්රමයෙන් පරිහානියට පත්වෙමින් තිබූ ලක්දිව සම්බුද්ධ ශාසනය පාරිශුද්ධ භාවයට පත් කරමින් සියම් දේශයේ උපාලි තෙරුන් වහන්සේ යටතේ නැවත උපසම්පදාව සහිත ථේරවාදී බුදුදහම ස්ථාපිත වන්නේ ද, කඨින මහා පූජෝත්සවය ආරම්භ වනු පිණිස භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේ පෙර වස් සමාදම් වන්නේ ද, පෙරහර සමය ආරම්භ වන්නේ ද අද වන් පොහොය දිනක ය.
මේ සා විශාල වැදගත්කමක් ඇති උතුම් ඇසළ පොහොය දිනයේදී සෞඛ්ය මඟපෙන්වීම්වලට අනුගත වෙමින් පමණක් ආමිස පූජා හා ප්රතිපත්ති පූජා සිදු කරමින් සැදැහැ සිතින් කටයුතු කළ යුතු ය. මේ පෙරහර සමයේ ද ආරම්භයයි. එහෙත් අප සැම මුහුණ දෙමින් සිටින කොවිඩ් වසංගතය හේතුවෙන් චිරාගත සාම්ප්රදායික චාරිත්රවලට පමණක් මුල් තැන දීම කරනු විනා එවන් උත්සව, සැණකෙළි කෙරෙහි අවධානය ලබා දීමට කටයුතු නො කිරීම ද ඔබ සැමගේ ම වගකීමකි.

இன்று புனித எசல பௌர்ணமி தினமாகும். இன்றைய தினத்தில் புத்த பெருமானுடன் தொடர்புடைய பல முக்கியமான நிகழ்வுகள் நடைபெற்றுள்ளமையினால் உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பௌத்தர்களுக்கு எசல பௌர்ணமி தினம் மிக முக்கியமான நாட்களில் ஒன்றாகும்.
புத்த பெருமான் ஐந்து முக்கிய கருத்தாய்வுகளை பார்த்த பிறகு, சித்தார்த்தர் இளவரசர் உலகில் மனிதனாக பிறப்பதற்காக மகாமய தேவியின் வயிற்றில் இது போன்ற ஒரு நாளில் தான் கர்ப்பமாகினார்.
மேலும், இருபத்தொன்பது ஆண்டுகளாக அனுபவித்த அனைத்து இன்பங்களையும் கைவிட்ட இளவரசர் சித்தார்த்த, மதச்சார்பற்ற வாழ்க்கையில் ஏமாற்றமடைந்து, இளவரசர் ராகுலாவின் பிறப்பு அதே நாளில் நடந்தது.
ஆறு ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு, அறிவொளி பெற்ற புத்தர் தனது முதல் பிரசங்கமான தம்மச்சக்கர சூத்ராவை ஐந்து உன்னத சத்தியங்கள் குறித்து இசிபாதனாவின் மிகாதயாவில் பிரசங்கித்தார்.அவர் பிறந்த ஏழாம் நாளில், தவ்திசா அன்னையின் தாய் தெய்வமாக பிறந்தார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Today is the Esala Poya Day.Esala Poya Day is one of the most important Poya days for thousands of Buddhists around the world as many great events have taken place relating to Lord Buddha.
After the realization of the five great considerations, the conception of Prince Siddartha in Queen Mahamaya’s womb occurred on a day like today.
Prince Siddhartha, after giving up all the pleasures he had enjoyed for twenty-nine years, became disillusioned with secular life and also the birth of the Prince Rahula took place on a day like today.
The other significant events associated with Esala Full Moon include:
The first sermon of the enlightened Lord Buddha, the Dhammachakka Sutra to the Five Ascetics at the Isipathana Migadaya; The performance of the Twin Miracles(Yama Maha Pelahara) under the Ganddhabba Tree defeating Theerthaka Mānaya (Superiority); the Lord Buddha visiting Thusitha Heaven by using his miraculous power to preach the Abhidhamma to the gods and his mother the Mātru Divyarāja who passed away after seven days of his birth; The convocation of the First Dharma Sangayana which was held three months after the Parinibbana of the Buddha; Laying the foundation for the Ruwanweli Stupa which protects a Drona of relics of the Lord Buddha; The Inauguration of the Siam Nikaya, the great restoration or Theravada Buddhist Reformation of the Maha Sangha by The Most Venerable Upali Maha Thero from Siam; The beginning of the annual rains retreat of the monks, 'Vas' and also the start of the Esala Perahera.
