Our lobby came alive with the sights, sounds and scents of the festive season as we celebrated our annual Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony at Sheraton Kosgoda Turtle Beach Resort.

From the spirited sound of bagpipes and the arrival of our culinary champions, to barrels filled with fruits, nuts and spices, every moment marked the beginning of our favorite Christmas tradition.

Our associates, leadership team and in-house guests along with friends from the media, rolled up their sleeves, put on their festive hats and aprons, and joined us in mixing the ingredients that will soon become our much-loved Christmas cake.

With Christmas melodies filling the air, festive cocktails flowing and tables filled with cookies, mince pies and savory canapés, the lobby became a joyful gathering place for everyone to share in the magic of the season.

And just like that… Christmas at Sheraton Kosgoda has officially begun!

Here’s to a season filled with festive flavors, joyful gatherings and Christmas by the coast.

International Housekeeping Week gave us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedicated associates who work behind the scenes to make every stay special.

The week was filled with fun activities, along with a meaningful community initiative at the D. F. Perera Abayasiriwardena Elders’ Home in Balapitiya. The team helped maintain the garden and washrooms, before spending time with the elders over tea and snacks. It was a simple gesture that turned into a beautiful afternoon of connection, conversation and shared smiles.

The special week drew to a close with a special dinner celebrating our Housekeeping team, where our General Manager took the opportunity to personally thank the associates and present each of them with a special token of appreciation, together with Housekeeping Executive, Gamunu Keerthisiri.

To every member of our Housekeeping team, thank you for the care, dedica tion, attention to detail and heart you bring to what you do every day.
You are an important part of what makes Sheraton Kosgoda Turtle Beach Resort feel special. 💙

Happy International Housekeeping Week!

This World Tourism Day, we celebrated the joy of travel, the magic of discovery and the memories that make every journey special!

Inspired by the theme “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism,” our guests stepped into a world of travel-inspired props, playful moments and picture-perfect memories, striking a pose with our Instagram frame and capturing the fun in a special photoshoot.

To make the experience even more memorable, each guest took home a personalised Polaroid photo strip, a little keepsake of their time with us in Kosgoda.

Because every journey deserves a beautiful memory to take home.
