සිරි සමන්තභද්‍ර මහා ස්වාමීන්ද්‍රයන් වහන්සේ සමඟ සුහද පිළිසඳරක යෙදුණු එතුමා ඉන්දියානු රජය හා ඒකාබද්ධව කෘෂිකාර්මික ව්‍යාපෘති ගණනාවක් ඉදිරියේදී සිදු කිරීමට එකඟතාවය පළ කළේය අනතුරුව සිරි සමන්තභද්‍ර ස්වාමින්වහන්සේ විසින් උමංදාවේ ඉදිකෙරුණු EV Fast Charging Station විවෘත කරනු ලැබිනි එමෙන්ම උමංදාවේ අවට ප්‍රදේශයේ දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් නොමිලේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වන දිසාපාමොක් හිංදී ඇකඩමියෙහි ඉගෙනුම ලබන, ඉන්දියානු රජය විසින් පවත්වන "ප්‍රාථමික් හින්දී" විභාගය ඉහලින් සමත් වූ සිසුන් ද සහතිකපත්‍ර ලබා ගත්හ.

The Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, H.E. Santosh Jha, and his wife, along with a delegation including the Assistant High Commissioner from the Assistant High Commission of India in Kandy, visited the Umandawa Global Buddhist Village today.
After paying homage at the Manik Vehera and the cave temple housing the reclining Maitreya Buddha statue, he inspected the solar panel system donated under Indian assistance.
Engaging in a cordial discussion with Siri Samanthabhadra Maha Thero, the High Commissioner expressed his agreement to implement several agricultural projects in the future in collaboration with the Indian Government. Subsequently, the EV Fast Charging Station constructed at Umandawa was declared open by Siri Samanthabhadra Thero.
Furthermore, students studying at the Disapamok Hindi Academy—which operates free of charge for children in the areas surrounding Umandawa—who passed the "Prathmik Hindi" examination conducted by the Indian Government with high marks, also received their certificates.

Despite of whoever they are, the Vesak full moon over Umandawa bestowed its illuminating light without measure without any difference to all of them.

සිරි සමන්තභද්‍ර ස්වාමින්වහන්සේ ඇතුළු පිරිස ඊයේ දිනයේදී (2026 05 07th) තායිවානයේ අගනුවර වන තායිපේ හි පිහිටි Taipei 101 නම් තායිවානයේ උසම ගොඩනැගිල්ලට පිවිසියා. එය 2004 වනතෙක් ලොව උසම ගොඩනැගිල්ල ලෙස සළකා තිබෙන අතර එහි මහල් 101 ක් ඇති ලෙස නිර්මාණය කොට තිබෙනවා. එය නිර්මාණය කොට ඇත්තේ උණ ගසක හැඩයට අනුකූලවයි.
තායිවානයට නිතර බලපාන ප්‍රබල භූමිකම්පා සහ සුළි කුණාටු (Typhoons) වලට ඔරොත්තු දෙන ආකාරයට මෙය විශේෂයෙන්ම ඉදිකර ඇත. මෙහි සුළඟින් සහ කම්පන වලින් වන බලපෑම අවම කිරීම සඳහා ගොඩනැගිල්ලේ 87 වන සහ 92 වන මහල් අතර ටොන් 660 ක් බරැති දැවැන්ත වානේ ගෝලයක් (Tuned Mass Damper) එල්ලා තිබේ. මෙය තායිවානයේ විශිෂ්ට ඉංජිනේරු තාක්ෂණයේ ජීවමාන සංකේතයකි.

Yesterday, Ven. Siri Samanthabhadra Thero Woh live in Srilanka 🇱🇰 and the accompanying delegation visited Taipei 101, the tallest building in Taiwan, located in the capital city of Taipei.
An Architectural & Engineering Marvel 🏢
Holding the title of the world's tallest building until 2004, this magnificent structure features 101 floors and is uniquely designed to resemble a bamboo stalk. It is specially constructed to withstand the powerful earthquakes and typhoons that frequently affect the region.
To minimize the impact of strong winds and seismic tremors, a massive 660-ton steel sphere (Tuned Mass Damper) is suspended between the 87th and 92nd floors. This stands as a living symbol of Taiwan's exceptional engineering technology. ⚙️
Upcoming Cultural & Religious Festivals 🏮
As a nation deeply rooted in Taoism, Taiwanese monasteries will be hosting special festivals starting tomorrow. These celebrations are based on Taoist teachings, Chinese beliefs, and the traditional lunar calendar.

昨日，居住在斯里兰卡的萨曼塔巴德拉长老（Ven. Siri Samanthabhadra Thero Woh）率领代表团参观了位于台湾首都台北的台北101大厦，这座台湾最高的建筑。

建筑与工程奇迹🏢

台北101大厦曾保持世界最高建筑的称号，直至2004年。这座宏伟的建筑共有101层，其独特的设计形似竹竿。大厦的建造旨在抵御该地区频繁发生的强震和台风。

为了最大限度地减少强风和地震的影响，一个重达660吨的巨型钢球（调谐质量阻尼器）悬挂在87层和92层之间。这堪称台湾卓越工程技术的活生生的象征。 ⚙️

වියට්නාමයේ සංචාරයක නිරත වන සිරි සමන්තභද්‍ර ස්වාමින්වහන්සේ ඇතුළු ධූත පිරිස අද දින අක්කර 4200 පමන වපසරියකින් යුක්ත වන අග්නිදිග ආසියාවේ විශාලතම බෞද්ධ විහාර සංකීර්ණය විදියට සැලකෙන වියට්නාමයේ නිං බිං ( ninh binh ) පිහිටි 'බායි ඩින්' (Bai Dinh) ආරාමය නැරඹීම පිණිස වැඩම (2026 04 16 )කලා. එහිදී සිරි සමන්තභද්‍ර ස්වාමින්වහන්සේ වෙනුවෙන් විශේෂ පිලිගැනීමක් එම විහාරයේ සූදනම් කර තිබුනා. දැවැන්ත බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමා සහ රහතන් වහන්සේලාගේ පිළිම දහස් ගණනකින් සමන්විත මෙම විහාර සංකීර්ණය තුළ අනුරාධපුර ජයශ්‍රීමහ බෝධීයේ අංකුරයක්ද රෝපණය කොට තිබෙනවා. පැමිණි පිරිස විහාරයේ වතාවත් සිදුකළ අතර ලාංකේය අනන්‍යතාව නියෝජනය වීම පිණිස ආරාමය සඳහා සමාධී බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමාවක් පූජා කරනු ලැබුවා. එමෙන්ම උමංදාව නිෂ්පාදන ද පරිත්‍යාග කළා. රට දැය සමය වෙනුවෙන් උමංදාව බෞද්ධ විශ්ව ගම්මානය කරගෙන යන වැඩපිලිවෙල එම ආරාමයේ Thích Minh Quang) විහාරාධිකාරී හිමිපාණන්ය වහන්සේ විසින් බෙහෙවින් අගය කරනු ලබන බව ප්‍රකාශ කරනු ලැබුවා.

Venerable Siri Samanthabhadra Thero and his delegation, who are currently on a tour of Vietnam, visited the Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh today. Spanning an area of approximately 4,200 acres, it is considered the largest Buddhist temple complex in Southeast Asia. A special welcome had been organized at the temple for Venerable Siri Samanthabhadra Thero.
This temple complex features massive Buddha statues and thousands of statues of Arahants, and also houses a planted sapling of the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi from Anuradhapura. The visiting delegation performed religious observances at the temple and presented a Samadhi Buddha statue to the monastery as a symbol of Sri Lankan identity. Additionally, they donated Umandawa products.
The Chief Incumbent of the temple, Venerable Thích Minh Quang, expressed his deep appreciation for the initiatives carried out by the Umandawa Global Buddhist Village for the betterment of the country, the nation, and the religion.

Thượng tọa Siri Samanthabhadra Arhat Maha Thero cùng phái đoàn, hiện đang trong chuyến thăm viếng tại Việt Nam, hôm nay đã đến thăm chùa Bái Đính ở Ninh Bình. Trải rộng trên diện tích khoảng 4.200 mẫu Anh, đây được coi là quần thể chùa Phật giáo lớn nhất Đông Nam Á. Một lễ đón tiếp đặc biệt đã được tổ chức tại chùa để chào đón Thượng tọa Siri Samanthabhadra.
Quần thể chùa này nổi bật với các bức tượng Phật khổng lồ cùng hàng ngàn bức tượng của các vị A-la-hán, và cũng là nơi trồng một cây non được ươm từ Cây Bồ Đề Jaya Sri Maha ở Anuradhapura. Phái đoàn đã thực hiện các nghi lễ tôn giáo tại chùa và trao tặng một bức tượng Phật nhập định (Samadhi) cho tu viện như một biểu tượng của bản sắc Sri Lanka. Ngoài ra, phái đoàn cũng trao tặng các sản phẩm của Umandawa.
Trụ trì của chùa, Thượng tọa Thích Minh Quang, đã bày tỏ sự trân trọng sâu sắc đối với những chương trình và sáng kiến mà Làng Phật giáo Toàn Umandawa đang thực hiện vì sự phát triển của đất nước, dân tộc và tôn giáo.

They spent a beautiful day exploring the serene surroundings, admiring the stunning temple architecture, and experiencing the deep tranquility of Umandawa. Afterwards, they enjoyed a delicious, wholesome lunch with us before happily continuing their journey.
It was an absolute joy to host them, and we are thrilled they left with hearts full of happiness and beautiful memories! ✨

ඊයේ රාත්‍රියේ උමංදාවට ආසන්න ගම්මානයකට වන අලි ප්‍රහාරයකට ලක්වූ අතර නිවසක කොටසක් දැඩිලෙස විනාශ වී ගොස් තිබුණා.

මේ පුවත සැලවූ වහාම, අද උදෑසනම සිරි සමන්තභද්‍ර මහා ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ එම නිවස වෙත වැඩම කළ අතර හුදෙක් අනුකම්පා කිරීමෙන් පමණක් නොනැවතී, කඩා වැටුණු නිවස යළි ගොඩනැගීමට අවශ්‍ය ගල්, සිමෙන්ති මෙන්ම ඒ සඳහා අවශ්‍ය මූල්‍යමය පරිත්‍යාගයන්ද උන්වහන්සේ මැදිහත් වීමෙන් ලබා දුන්නා.
උන්වහන්සේගේ වැඩමවීමත් සමඟ මුළු ගමම එකා මෙන් එක් රොක් වූ අතර කඩිනමින් එම නිවස පිළිසකර කර දීමේ මූලික කටයුතු ගම්වාසීන්ගේද සහයෝගයෙන් එම මොහොතේම ආරම්භ වූයේ මනුෂ්‍යත්වයේ සැබෑ අරුත ලොවටම පෙන්වා දෙමින්.

නමුත්, ගඩොලින් ගඩොල බැඳ නිවෙස් යළි ගොඩනැගුවද, මේ ප්‍රශ්නයට එය ස්ථිර විසඳුමක් නොවේ. අලි - මිනිස් ගැටුම යනු තවදුරටත් කල් දැමිය නොහැකි ජාතික ඛේදවාචකයකි. මීට පෙර අප හබරණ Eco Park වන මැද අලි ඇතුන්ගේ පිපාසය සංසිඳුවන්නට දැවැන්ත වැවක් ඉදි කළා සේම, මේ ගැටලුවටත් ප්‍රායෝගික හා තිරසාර විසඳුම් කඩිනමින්ම ලබා දිය යුතුව ඇත.

එසේ නොවුණහොත්, මේ අසරණ මිනිසුන්ගේත් සතුන්ගේත් ජීවිත හැමදාමත් අඳුරේම පවතිනු ඇත. වචන වලට සීමා නොවී, ප්‍රායෝගිකව ක්‍රියාත්මක වෙමු!

Last night, a village near Umandawa was attacked by a wild elephant, leaving a section of a home severely damaged.
Upon hearing this news, Siri Samanthabhadra Maha Thero visited the affected home early this morning. Rather than merely offering sympathy, His Eminence intervened to provide the bricks, cement, and financial assistance required to rebuild the destroyed house. Inspired by His presence, the entire village came together as one. With the support of the community, the initial work to swiftly restore the house commenced immediately, demonstrating the true meaning of humanity to the world.
However, rebuilding houses brick by brick is not a permanent solution to this problem. The human-elephant conflict is a national tragedy that can no longer be ignored. Just as we previously constructed a massive reservoir in the heart of the Habarana Eco Park to quench the thirst of wild elephants, we must urgently implement practical and sustainable solutions to this crisis.
Otherwise, the lives of these helpless people and animals will forever remain in darkness. Let us not be limited to words; let us take practical action!

හිරු නැගෙන හිමිදිරියේ සිරි සමන්තභද්‍ර ස්වාමින්වහන්සේ ඇතුළු උමංදාව කණ්ඩායම අද දින සීගිරියේ චාරිකාවක නිරත වුණා. පුරාණතම අවදියන්හි සූර්‍ය වන්දනාව සිදු කළ ස්ථානයක් ව පැවති සීගිරිය පසුකාලීනව කාශ්‍යප රජුගේ මාලිගය බවටද පත්වුණා. සීගිරිය යනු තවමත් විවෘත නොවූ ඉතිහාසය ගැන රහස් රැසක් සඟවාගෙන සිටිනා ලෝක උරුමයකි.
