Keeping our surroundings clean and green!

As part of World Cleanup Day, the Club Hotel Dolphin team came together for a road-cleaning Shramadana campaign from Bolawatta Junction to the hotel.

The team focused on collecting plastic waste and other litter along the roadside, doing our part to keep the area clean and beautiful. 🌱

Growing a Greener Gin Oya! As part of the ongoing sustainability initiatives of Browns Hotels & Resorts, Club Hotel Dolphin is continuing its efforts to restore and protect the natural ecosystem along the Gin Oya riverbank.

New Nipa seeds are first nurtured in our Nipa nursery before being planted along the riverbank. What makes this initiative even more meaningful is that our guests can be part of the process, joining our team to plant Nipa plants and contribute directly to the restoration of this natural habitat.

Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen the riverbank, restore the surrounding ecosystem, and create a healthier environment for local biodiversity — one plant at a time.

From serving our guests to serving up some serious cricket!

In hospitality, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do - and this time, our Club Hotel Dolphin team took that teamwork to the cricket pitch.

The Inter-Department Cricket Tournament brought together colleagues from across the hotel for a day of friendly competition, big hits, close wickets, loud cheers, and plenty of team spirit. From the kitchen to the front office, housekeeping to the back-of-house, everyone came together beyond their usual roles to play, cheer, compete, and have a great time.

Because hospitality isn’t only about the experiences we create for our guests - it’s also about the people, friendships, and team spirit we build behind the scenes.
