e house can accommodate up to three guests; there is a double bed in the loft bedroom and a full-sized daybed in the living room. All the furniture and most of the loft structure is beautifully designed and handmade from old mahogany wood. The host family lives in a separate section that is attached to the house. The rented areas described above are completely private to the guest. In addition, there is a kitchen in the attached host family section of the house that is available for use. We are delighted to share the culture and traditions of Sri Lanka with our guests, including optional activities such as: cooking classes; nature trekking through the nearby cloud forest and learning about flora and fauna; traditional home garden visits; waterfall expeditions; introductions to Sri Lankan tea culture; religious rituals; as well as general cultural exchange. We are experts on wildlife and flora, birding, and all things related to nature. We would be happy to teach, learn, and share with our guests. We have a large library of books for your reference. If time permits, we may also accompany you to the Horton Plains National Park and traditional home gardens.
