Some traditions become part of a place. Others become part of the people who call it home.
On the evening of Poson Poya, the lights at The Bellwood Manor shine a little differently.
For the third consecutive year, every member of our team came together with one shared purpose: to welcome and serve our community with warmth, generosity and gratitude.
Together, our culinary team prepared thousands of servings of hot soup and freshly baked bread rolls, which were shared with more than 5,000 pilgrims, travellers and visitors passing through Nuwara Eliya.
As the evening unfolded, strangers became friends, conversations were shared, and simple acts of kindness reminded us of what hospitality truly means.
At The Bellwood Manor, we believe hospitality is not defined by the moments within our walls alone, but by the care we extend beyond them.
To everyone who joined us this Poson, thank you for allowing us to share this tradition with you.
From all of us at The Bellwood Manor, we wish you and your family peace, happiness and blessings this Poson.
🤍 Happy Poson 🤍
