We were truly honored to welcome renowned Sri Lankan singer and musician Mr. Janaka Wickramasinghe to Alpine Hotel & Thai Dragon Restaurant, Nuwara Eliya, where he met with our respected Chairman, Mr. Mahinda Dodampe Gamage.

During his visit, Mr. Janaka enjoyed spending time at THAI Dragon Restaurant, sharing his experiences from years of traveling and dining at restaurants across Sri Lanka.

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing his appreciation for our restaurant. It was a true honor for Alpine Hotel & Thai Dragon Restaurant, Nuwara Eliya to welcome an esteemed gathering from the Sri Lankan entertainment industry during the filming of the upcoming Sirasa TV teledrama "Marambari."

We were delighted to welcome renowned Sri Lankan actress, professional counselor, and University of Moratuwa lecturer Ms. Kalani Dodantenna to Alpine Hotel Nuwara Eliya, during the filming of the upcoming Sirasa TV teledrama "Marambari." 🌿🎥

🎬✨ Lights, Camera, Hospitality! A Memorable Visit to Alpine Hotel & Thai Dragon Restaurant ✨🏔️

Today, we had the privilege of welcoming renowned Sri Lankan actor Mr. Bimal Jayakodi and talented actress Ms. Ishanka Jahanvi Da Costa to Alpine Hotel Nuwara Eliya, during the filming of the upcoming Sirasa TV teledrama "Marambari." 🎥🌿

During their visit, Mr. Bimal Jayakodi enjoyed a delightful lunch at our THAI Dragon Restaurant, where he especially appreciated our signature Sicilian Beef, one of our most popular specialties.

The visit was particularly meaningful as it brought back wonderful memories. In 2024, Mr. Bimal portrayed a chef in the hit teledrama "Rasa Rahasak," and several memorable kitchen scenes were filmed right here at Alpine Hotel. Returning to the same kitchen once again was a nostalgic experience, and he took time to meet our culinary team and revisit the place where those memorable scenes came to life. 👨‍🍳❤️

To make the day even more special, Mr. Bimal also had a warm and friendly discussion with our respected Chairman, Mr. Mahinda Dodampe Gamage, sharing memories and enjoying the hospitality that defines Alpine Hotel.
