A little late, but filled with gratitude and warm wishes 💛

Viola, the young volunteer from Italy who spent a few meaningful weeks with us, became deeply connected to our MkCYM International volunteer journey. Her dedication, kindness, and the way she worked alongside our team left a beautiful impact on everyone she met.

On the 19th, she celebrated her birthday — and today we celebrate her once again, together with the memories she created with us and the thoughtful follow-up video she shared about her experience.

We are happy to welcome our new Italian volunteer to the MKCYM community! 🇮🇹🤍
She joined us yesterday after participating in one of our training workshops, and we are truly excited to begin this journey together. Her enthusiasm, openness, and willingness to learn and serve are already greatly appreciated.

රත්න අංකල්.... කිසිදිනක වයසට නොගිය තරුණයා. ❤️

අපි MKCYM වෙත එද්දී, ඒ බිම මිනිසුන් වෙනුවෙන් හදපු පිරිස තුළ දැකපු ශක්තිමත් තරුණයෙක් ඔහු. හැමදාම අපි කරන වැඩවලට ඔහු ආශිර්වාද කළා. දින සති මාස ගණන් අපි කැලේ එක්ක ඔට්ටු වෙද්දී, ඔහුගේ වෘත්තීය ජීවිතය සහ බලාපොරොත්තු ගැන අපි එක්ක ඔහු බෙදාගත්තේ හැමදාම ජවයෙන්. කවියෙන්. හිටිවන කවි බැඳුමට ඔහු උපන් හපනෙක්....

නවයොවුන් දරුවන් එක්ක වැඩ කරන්නත් ගොල්ඩන් වොයිස් ඇකඩමිය බිහි කරන්නත් ඔහුට බලපෑමේ මේ තරුණ පෞරුෂීය ලක්ෂණමයි. විශ්‍රාම සුවයෙන් පසු වුවත් ඔහු කෙදිනකවත් සමාජය සමාජය වෙනුවෙන් වැඩ කරන එක නතර කලේ නෑ. ඊයේ දවසම මට තිබුණා හදවත ඇතුල කකියන ගතියක්. ඒ ඔහුගේ සමුගැනීමේ පුවතයි. මිනිසුන් සමුගන්නවා.....

දවස් කිහිපයකට කලින්, ලහිරු සහ මම එක්ක MkCYM වල වැඩසටහන් කරන්න කතා කළ ඔහු අපි සමඟ කතා කළේ හැමදාම වගේ උන්දුසහගතවයි. කිසිම ජීවන අත්දැකීමකට ඔහුව වයසට යවන්න හැකියාව තිබුණේ නෑ.

MkCYM වල ගත කළ මුල් දවස්වල අංකල් එක්ක ගැඹුරින් වැඩ ගැන කතා කරන්න එක් අවස්ථාවක් ලැබුණා. එදා අපි බොහෝ දේ කතා කළා. ආත්මීය මිනිසුන්ට බොහෝ දුර යා හැකිබවත්, අපි දරණ වෑයම හෙමින් නමුත් ශක්තාමත්ව ඵල දරන බවත් ඔහු කිව්වා. ඊයේ ඔහු ඔහුගේ දිවි සැරිය නිමා කරලා තිබුණා. ඔබ ලඟින් දැනුන තරණ ශක්තිමත් ආත්මය අපේ රටේ ශක්තිමත්ම පරපුරක අවසාන පුරුක්වලින් දැනුන ජීව ගුණය පසක් කරනවා.

කිසිදාක මතකයන් ගිලිහී නොයාවි. ඔබ අපේ මතක තුළින් ඉදිරියට යාවි. අපි කරන වැඩ ඇතුලේ ජීවත් වේවි....MkCYM වල අපි හදන පළමු තරුණ අවකාශයේ අසීරුණම අවදින් දරාගනිමින් එය ගොඩනැඟීමට ඔබ දැරූ වෙහෙස මල්ඵල ගැන්වෙමින් තියෙනවා. එය දරාගත්තාට ස්තූතියි. අපි හැමෝමගේම ආදරය සහ ගෞරවය අපි ඔබට පුද කරනවා.....

A Heartfelt Thank You & Farewell to Our Amazing Italian Volunteer 🇮🇹💙

After three wonderful weeks of volunteering with MkCYM, today we say goodbye to a truly inspiring individual who gave his time, energy, and heart to our community.

From day one, your dedication, positivity, and friendly spirit made a lasting impression on everyone here. Whether working with our youth or supporting our daily activities, you’ve been an incredible part of our team.

Though it's hard to see you go, we are grateful for the memories, the shared laughter, and the meaningful moments we’ve had together. You’ll always have a place in the MkCYM family!
