Two nights give you time to actually experience it.

Wake up with the birds.

We noticed something about our guests.

The ones who stay for two or three nights usually leave with a very different feeling about Tissa.

They see the birds early in the morning, spend a day looking for wildlife, eat Sri Lankan food, have a quiet afternoon by the pool, watch the sunset… and somehow the days don’t feel rushed.

So we put some of our favourite things together into 2, 3 and 4-night stays.

Nothing complicated.
Just stay with us, and let us take care of the rest.

Think Yala is only Block 1? Think again.

From 14 September to 15 October, Yala Block 1 will be closed.

But that doesn’t mean your Yala safari has to wait.

There are other parts of Yala that many visitors never experience — Blocks 5 & 6.

Less talked about.
Less crowded.
Different landscapes.
And still full of wild encounters.

One of our favourite ways to spend an evening around Tissa.

A little drive through the village, stopping to watch the buffalo in the water, seeing the farmers finishing their work, passing small roadside stalls and enjoying the beautiful lake and countryside as the sun starts to go down.

It’s nothing fancy.
It’s just real village life quiet, simple and beautiful.

And honestly, sometimes these are the moments our guests remember most.
