🌿 A Recommendation That Brings Guests Back to Yala 🐘🇱🇰

It was a pleasure welcoming a young couple from England to Wild Breeze Yala Safari Bungalows. ❤️

They came to stay with us after a special recommendation from the girlfriend’s sister, who had visited Wild Breeze two years ago. It means so much to us when guests remember their experience and recommend our place to their family. 🙏

During their stay, they enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of Wild Breeze and joined us for a morning safari to Yala National Park – Block 5. 🌿🐘🦌

Two lovely girls from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 stayed with us at Wild Breeze Yala Safari Bungalows, enjoying a peaceful local stay, authentic Sri Lankan food, and the warmth of our local hospitality. ❤️

It was time for a wild adventure! 🚙🌿
They joined us for an afternoon safari to Yala National Park – Block 5. Even on the way to the park, they were welcomed by elephants in the wild. Inside the park, they enjoyed the beautiful landscapes, wildlife and peaceful atmosphere of Yala.

And finally came the highlight of the safari… 🐆✨
A leopard quietly resting beside a bush, giving them a beautiful and unforgettable wildlife moment.

Authentic village life and local food to the incredible wilderness of Yala, this was a wonderful way to experience the real Sri Lanka. 🇱🇰❤️

🌿A Taste of Authentic Village Life in Yala 🇱🇰

Staying at Wild Breeze Yala Safari Bungalows is more than just finding a place to sleep — it is an opportunity to experience the traditions, food and everyday life of our local village.

A foreign couple staying with us recently enjoyed a truly special Sri Lankan buffalo curd experience. ❤️

They discovered the traditional journey behind one of Sri Lanka’s most famous village foods — from the buffaloes and traditional buffalo milk collection, to the local woman who carefully turns fresh buffalo milk into delicious, traditional buffalo curd.

🐃 They also experienced the traditional way buffaloes are cared for and milked, learning how this fresh milk becomes the creamy curd enjoyed by generations of Sri Lankan families.

But the story didn't end there…

🏺 They visited the place where the traditional terracotta pots used for buffalo curd are made. The pots are crafted from natural clay gathered from the lake, shaped by local hands and traditionally prepared to hold the buffalo curd.

From the buffalo to the milk, from the clay of the lake to the terracotta pot, and finally to the delicious curd on the table — they experienced the complete story behind this authentic village tradition.

And of course, they enjoyed our local Sri Lankan food and genuine village hospitality during their stay. 🌾🍚❤️
