Scientific name: Halcyon smyrnensis
Info: A bright blue and brown bird often found near lakes and forests. It hunts insects, fish, and small reptiles โ€” very common around Udawalawa.

๐Ÿฆ Scene 2 โ€“ Scaly-breasted Munia (Nutmeg Mannikin)

Scientific name: Lonchura punctulata
Info: Small social finches that travel in flocks. They feed mostly on grass seeds and are often seen perched together on branches.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Scene 3 โ€“ Green Imperial Pigeon

Scientific name: Ducula aenea
Info: Sri Lankaโ€™s largest pigeon species, with glossy green wings. They live high in forest canopies and feed on fruits and figs.

Scientific name: Herpestes edwardsii
