Just when you think Sri Lanka couldn’t get any better… you find out about Udawalawe's Elephant Transit Home 🥹

It's one of the most heart-warming experiences you can have in Sri Lanka. This ethical rehabilitation centre cares for orphaned baby elephants until they’re strong enough to be released back into the wild, or into Udawalawe's National Park.

There’s no riding, touching or performing, just watching from a distance as these little ones get fed and play.
