Superb Gesture From our previous guests 🙌🏻
In October 2024 we had a Cricket Club from Yorkshire 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 called The Wednesday Knights stay with us at Lion's Rest for 2 Wednesday. We arranged 3 cricket matches for them against local teams.
They played The Godapitiya Maha Vidyalaya College Weligama in their final match. Back in England they did a fund raising for the college to raise money for equipment and to build a new building for the college.
2 years on the college is using the funds and are very grateful 🙏🏻🦁🇱🇰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
