POSTPONEMENT OF THE 2ND ANNUAL KHUTSONG LODGE SAFARI KIDS FEST

Khutsong Lodge wishes to formally announce the postponement of the 2nd Annual Khutsong Lodge Safari Kids Fest, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, 26 September 2026.
This decision has been made following the latest weather forecasts indicating a 90% probability of rainfall on the day of the event.

As the Kids Fest is an entirely outdoor event, with all activities and entertainment taking place outdoors, the anticipated weather conditions present significant concerns regarding the safety, comfort and overall experience of our young guests and their families.

The safety of the children and all our guests remains our highest priority. We do not believe it would be responsible to proceed under weather conditions that could expose children and other guests to prolonged rainfall and cold temperatures, potentially affecting their health and comfort.

In addition, the expected weather conditions may significantly interfere with the activities planned for the day and could potentially cause damage to event equipment and facilities.

We understand that many families have been looking forward to this event and may have already made arrangements to attend. We sincerely regret the inconvenience and disappointment that this postponement may cause. This was not a decision that was taken lightly, but we believe it is the most responsible decision under the circumstances.

Our intention is to ensure that the Khutsong Lodge Safari Kids Fest takes place under safe and suitable weather conditions, giving every child, adult and family in attendance the opportunity to fully enjoy the activities, entertainment and overall atmosphere we have carefully prepared for them.

We want this to be a day filled with excitement, laughter and memorable experiences, a day that families can look back on with fond memories long after the event has ended. We therefore believe that waiting for more favourable weather conditions will allow us to deliver the experience that our guests deserve and ensure that everyone can enjoy the event to the fullest.

A new date will be communicated once it has been confirmed. We kindly ask our guests, ticket holders and supporters to await further communication regarding the rescheduled event.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, patience and continued support as we make this decision with the safety of our guests and the quality of their experience in mind.
