We are happy to announce that we are now part of the Shoa Memorial Trail in Luxembourg City.

In the 1930s, our hotel, then called Hôtel Sélect, accommodated several hundred foreign Jewish refugees fleeing from anti-Jewish measures taken by the N**i regime. A soup kitchen set up in cooperation with the Jewish aid organisation ESRA served one hot meal a day to the refugees.
After the invasion of Luxembourg by the German Reich on 10 May 1940, the racial laws were quickly applied, resulting in many Luxemburgish and foreign Jews being sent to the death camps
