Key times for Jūrmala:
🌘 The eclipse begins around 20:06
🌑 Maximum phase around 20:58
☀️ At its peak, the Moon will cover approximately 80% of the Sun's disk

Important:
At the moment of maximum eclipse, the Sun will be only about 1° above the horizon; therefore, you should choose a location with a completely unobstructed western or north-western horizon, such as the beach in Dubulti!

The end of the eclipse will not be fully visible in Jūrmala, as the Sun will set before the event concludes.

You must use certified solar eclipse glasses or another safe method for observing the Sun.
If the weather is clear, Jūrmala beach will be one of the best places in Latvia to watch it. 🌅🌘
