🌿 Tous les riads s’organisent autour d’un patio. Mais tous les patios ne racontent pas la même histoire.

À Mayfez, le cœur de la maison ne se résume pas à une cour intérieure.
Ici, l’architecture s’ouvre et les perspectives se prolongent. Les jardins accompagnent la maison de part et d’autre, la lumière circule d’un espace à l’autre et l’eau crée un lien naturel entre les différents univers de la demeure.

📖 **Whispers of a Vizier's Riad**

When we published *Whispers of a Vizier's Riad*, we hoped it would become more than a book.

Born from the walls, the silences and the layered history of Mayfez, it was imagined as an invitation to discover the soul of this house beyond a stay.

Since then, something quietly beautiful has happened.
Guests have spent unhurried moments turning its pages in our library. Some have chosen to take it home. Others have written to tell us that its story continued to accompany them long after they had left Mayfez.

Because this book was never meant to be a souvenir.
It was meant to be a bridge.

A bridge between past and present.
Between architecture and memory.
Between those who built this house and those who continue to give it life today.

Hospitality is not only about comfort.
It is about transmission.

Some stories deserve to be lived.
Others deserve to be preserved.

Only different ways of inhabiting it.

☀️Some days, the house feels luminous and expansive.
🤍On others, quieter, almost secret.

The light never falls quite the same way twice.
The air carries different silences.
Even time seems to move differently.

✨️And yet, Mayfez remains entirely itself.

Perhaps that is what seasons truly are here, not a change of scenery, but a change of sensation.

Car...

Bien avant Mayfez, il y eut Mayfair.

Un quartier de Londres où nous avions nos habitudes. Une certaine idée de l'élégance, des traditions qui traversent les années et une conviction assez britannique que le thé mérite qu'on lui consacre du temps. ☕

Puis un jour, une maison de Fès est entrée dans notre vie.

Nous avons changé de ville, de pays, presque de monde.
Mais on ne quitte jamais tout à fait les lieux qui nous ont façonnés.

Alors...

Puisqu'il nous fallait quitter Mayfair, il nous a paru naturel de nous installer à Mayfez.

Depuis, certaines choses ont changé. D'autres n'ont jamais bougé.

L'heure du thé, notamment. 🍃
