Come with us as we chat to local artist Yassine CHRAIBI in his studio to learn more about his artistic process and approach.

Yassine is one of the talented artists involved in our Associate Artists Programme, an initiative aimed at encouraging artists to develop the Moroccan creative community through events, exhibitions, talks and mentorship programmes.

Yassine, whose sculpture work featured in our 2025 exhibition “Mechanics of Belief”, is a multidisciplinary artist who explores the relationship between materials and human existence, using elements like wax, concrete, copper, and lead to provoke reflection on society and collective consciousness.Trained in applied arts and fine arts, he has taught art since 2013. His recent work investigates contrasts such as verticality vs. horizontality and fragility vs. strength.

It has been a pleasure to work with Yassine over the past year and we are excited to continue to follow and support him on his artistic journey!

With special thanks to Natasha Cox who coordinates the AAP and to our Art Director Aicha Benazzouz for her continued work and artistic direction!
