Patrice Kouadio calls his pieces postcards. Before founding TRAVEL, he was in Abidjan, then Marrakech - with a background in modelling, photography and visual art along the way. Growing up, he watched his uncle weave and sell a traditional fabric called le pagne Baoulé in the market.
Patrice came to visit us at the El Fenn boutique to show us some of his designs across womenswear and menswear. Most notably, the Traftan - Patrice’s take on traditional Moroccan dressing with hand sourced fabrics in an array of colours and patterns.
