At Nomada, we chose soft lime walls to reflect the light, bring calm, and let the architecture breathe.
Because colour is part of how a place makes you feel.

This is my favourite door at Nomada

Not because it is perfect, but because it carries every mark of time

It belongs to Itrane, and lately it could only open halfway. Replacing it would have been easier. But some things are not meant to be replaced.
So it has been entrusted to the hands of a local craftsman, who is repairing the damaged wood piece by piece. The new parts are still visible now, but we know the skill of Marrakech’s artisans. They will restore its strength without erasing its story

Because caring for an old riad does not mean making everything look new. It means allowing the past to keep living in the present

Everyone asks Amàl how she makes these:
Amàl’s “Potatoes Sun”🥔☀️

Amàl makes many beautiful things in the kitchen, but sometimes it’s the simplest ones that guests
remember most.
These are her beloved “Potatoes Sun”, golden outside, soft inside, made by hand and served hot.
Not a complicated recipe, just one of those small things that stay with you.

Ingredients:
500 g potatoes
2 eggs
10 g salt
2 g black pepper
oil for frying

Method:
Grate the potatoes.
Squeeze out a little excess water if needed.
Add the eggs, salt, and pepper.
Mix well.
Shape by hand into small rustic rounds.
Fry until golden and crisp.
Serve hot.
