Thank you to everyone who joined us in the Medina this weekend.
For this exhibition, we chose to take the works away from the white cube and into the layered world of Riad Jardin Secret. A place already dense with colour, textiles, objects, plants and ornament.
Rather than neutralising the space, we wanted to work with it. To see what happens when contemporary art enters a place with its own identity, and when works are experienced not in isolation, but in conversation with everything around them.
This way of creating encounters between art, interiors and hospitality is very much at the heart of Rigotang.
