3 Days / 2 Nights, Fes To Fes Desert Tour – Via Erg Chebbi Dunes:

In These 3 days you will enjoy the scenery of the middle Atlas, view the cedar forest and feed the monkeys (barbary apes), see the nomads living in tents, explore the gorge of Ziz along with its Valley. Get to know how they work with fossils in Erfoud and more than that to taste the best quality of dates. You will also tour the dunes and discover its tiny villages such as Khamlia, home of balck musicians, visit a nomad family , and explore fossil site. Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes.
Pick up from your hotel in Fes very earlier and departure for the south of Morocco.

You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos. After that you will head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest.

Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of TIZI N TALGHAMT to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges.

Later on, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley.

The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop.

After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Dinner and spend the night in a room in a hotel/Auberge next to the dunes.

Day 2: Dunes Tour in the Sahara Desert
This morning after breakfast in the Auberge, you will have a tour of the dunes on 4×4 allowing you to visit the black volcanic rocks of marble fossils, visit a nomad family living in tent, visit to Khamlia village famous with black people and entertainment with their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake Dayte Sarji that forms in springtime which attract pink flamingos and wildlife.

You will have a break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. After lunch you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located on the foot of the dunes.

Continue to your hotel for relax and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in traditional nomad tent.

Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi Dunes – Fes
Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. Later on, we transfer you to Fez, drop off in Fes in your address your provided earlier.

Day 30: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges

Departure to the Dades gorges through the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi N'Tichka, on the side of the mountains you will see Berber villages and farms. We continue towards Ouarzazate, the capital of cinema in Morocco and then on the road to Thousand-Kasbah. From here, you will take a path through which you will have the opportunity to appreciate the tranquility of the mountains inhabited by the Berber nomads in the middle of the night of the Dades gorges.

Day 31: Gorges of Dades - Gorges of Todra - Erfoud - Merzouga

After breakfast head to the desert to one of the spectacular places of Morocco, Todra Gorges. It is an ideal place to walk and discover. They meet to continue towards Merzouga, where the camels will arrive at the nomadic haima in the middle of the dunes, where they will spend the night. Day 1: Merzouga - Rissani - N'kob - Ouarzazate

We continue towards Ouarzazate towards Rissani, where we stop to visit his traditional medina which is considered the largest in southern Morocco. Then continue to Alnif, Tazarine and the Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees. Arrival in Ouarzazate and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast and before going to Marrakech, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where many films were recorded, such as the Sahara, The Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator and Cleopatra. Then we continue to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains to Tizi N'Tichka. On the slopes of the mountains you will see Berber villages and farms.
