The new rules of the COVID-19 protocol entered into force today. According to them, the 14-day self-isolation regime will no longer be mandatory for all citizens who have returned from countries included in the "green zone", with a low risk of contamination with the new coronavirus.
According to the Ministry of Health, among such states are Greece, Turkey, Russia and the United Kingdom. At the same time, the obligation to remain in quarantine for two weeks remains valid in the case of those coming from the so-called "red zone", which included Romania and Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the list of countries for which the quarantine regime is imposed contains the names of 53 countries, including France, Israel, Romania, Ukraine, Spain, the United States and Croatia. Upon entering the Republic of Moldova, those arriving from these states will be required to complete the epidemiological file and isolate themselves.
The list of countries classified as "red zone" and "green zone" will be updated every 14 days, on Friday, and will enter into force on Monday of the following week. The document can be accessed on the website of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Agency for Public Health.
