Manufactured by massive factories that also built heavy trucks and industrial machinery (like the legendary ZIL brand), these weren’t just kitchen appliances—they were indestructible family heirlooms.
Built with thick steel, featuring a heavy metal latch handle like a retro car door, and sounding vaguely like a small tractor starting up in the middle of the night 🚜💨, these heavy-duty beasts are STILL keeping drinks ice-cold today, more than 50 years later!
