It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andrea.

For over three decades, Andrea made this beautiful corner of Sarodranno his home - a home he opened with love to countless strangers who became family. Here, he showed us that true luxury lies in life’s simplest moments: shared conversations, genuine connections, and respect for the world around us.

Andrea was a dreamer, an idealist who proved that life holds alternatives and hope. He showed us a different way of living, one built on authentic connections and deep respect for others and nature. Those who knew him feel deeply honored to have crossed paths with such an extraordinary soul.

He lived as he wished – surrounded by the beauty of Madagascar and the community he loved so dearly. His memory will forever remain in our most cherished recollections, a testament to the profound impact he had on all who knew him.

To those who had the privilege of meeting Andrea, we invite you to remember him as he was: a true citizen of the world who created a haven of peace and authenticity in Sarodranno. We gather today in spirit around his memory, grateful for the gift life gave us in allowing our paths to cross with his.

We take comfort knowing Andrea spent his final years exactly where he wanted to be, in the paradise he called home. His spirit, his dreams, and his belief in life’s simple luxuries will continue to inspire us all.
