Villa Elza is the first ever weekend house in Ohrid built in 1962. It was put up by Ilija Dzuvalekovski, a famous Macedonian actor, and his wife Elza during the shooting of the first Macedonian comedy “A Quiet Summer.” Because of the special spirit of the house and its authenticity, its successors decided to name it Villa Elza. The story of Villa Elza and Kaneo of 50 years ago is shown on the stairs of the house leading to the upper floor.
