📸 Today, we had the pleasure of visiting the Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team, one of the successful beneficiaries of the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 🇲🇰 - 🇦🇱.

Currently implementing the project "Volunteers in Action for People's Safety and Nature Protection", the team is strengthening cross-border cooperation while enhancing emergency response, volunteer engagement, and the protection of the region's natural environment.

Their work is a great example of how EU-funded projects create lasting impact for local communities and inspire future cooperation.

🚴‍♂️ Join the Timeless Trail Tour 2026! 🇲🇰🤝🇦🇱

The Ministry of Local Self-Government and the State Agency for Strategic Programming and Aid Coordination (SASPAC), acting as the Operating Structures of the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme North Macedonia–Albania, in cooperation with the Municipality of Novaci, are pleased to invite cycling enthusiasts to the third edition of the Timeless Trail Tour.

📅 12 June 2026
📍 Route: Novaci – Konjarka Recreation Park
📏 Distance: 26 km
🚲 Difficulty: Beginner – Intermediate

The event brings together participants from both sides of the border, promoting cooperation, active lifestyles, and the natural and cultural heritage of the cross-border region.

🍽️ Food, refreshments and promotional materials will be provided for all participants.

🚌 Participants from Albania will be provided with round-trip transportation and accommodation on 11 June. Transportation from Konjarka back to Novaci will also be available for participants who request it during registration.

🚴‍♂️ Nature, recreation and cross-border cooperation on two wheels 🌿

For the third year in a row, Municipality of Novaci is organizing the Timeless Trail Tour, this year with the support of the IPA III CBC Programme 🇲🇰🤝🇦🇱, the Ministry of Local Self-Government, Municipality of Novaci and SASPAC

The cycling tour offers participants the opportunity to explore the beautiful landscapes of the region while promoting active lifestyles, community spirit and sustainable tourism.

📍 Route: Novaci - Recreational Park Konjarka
📏 Length: 26 km
🚲 Difficulty: Beginner – Medium
🗓️ Participation is free of charge

All participants will receive refreshments, food and promotional materials.
