The resort is located in the Old Hsipaw Shan Village on the eastern bank of the Dokhtawady River. Riverside Hsipaw Resort is located in Thibaw (Hsipaw), a peaceful town in Northern Shan State known as the most beautiful trekking capital of Myanmar. It offers 28 comfortable river view en-suite rooms located in 14 duplex bungalows. Guests are provided with complimentary boat transfer (1 min) to the

other bank of the river to reach the heart of Hsipaw town on request. The resort can organise a wide range of half day and full day tours specifically designed with its clients capabilities in mind. Hsipaw Resort is located 5 hours drive from Mandalay, and 1,5 hours from Lashio, where a nearest airport is located.

Our Story

Riverside @ Hsipaw Resort is a hotel based in Thipaw (Hsipaw), a peaceful town in Northern Shan State and the new rising trekking capital of Myanmar. The resort is located in the Old Hsipaw Shan Village on the eastern bank of the Dokhtawady River. It offers 28 comfortable river view en-suite rooms located in 14 duplex bungalows. Guests are provided with complimentary boat transfer (two minutes boat ride) to the other bank of the river on request. The resort features a car park, well-maintained garden, bar, and a river-view restaurant offering Myanmar, Shan, Western, and Chinese cuisine. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The resort is equipped with fire extinguishers and features a fire assembly area. The rooms are separated from each other by an empty space and two brick walls to ensure comfort, privacy and silence for the guests. All rooms can be arranged as doubles or twins. The rooms are equipped with air conditioners, ceiling fans, hair dryers, minibar, tea & coffee facilities, and a personal safe. The resort can organise a wide range of half day and full day tours specifically designed with its clients capabilities in mind. Overnight treks with homestays are also an option.
