Yankin Hill
The Yankin Hill is located in the East of Mandalay.Yankin Hill meaning " away from danger ", shows harmony and peacefulness of Mandalay.
The hill is about 215 meters high and ranging from North to South about 2013 meters wide Nga Yant Min Cave is situated at Yankin Hill, about 5 miles (8km) east of Mandalay and 884ft (269m) above the sea level.
There are many carved figures of fishes on the hill,placed by Min Shin Saw, son of th King Alaung Sithu during the Bagan Era.It is believed that the first figures of the fishes were kept in the Royal Palace during the Yadanarbon period.It is said that the figure of the Buddha to be,the King of the fish was put in the cave.Whenever there was a draught,the people of Mandalay carried the figures around the city and then went to Yankin Hill.It was believed that by doing this,it could bring rainfall to the city.

U Bein Bridge
U Bein Bridge is a crossing that spans the Taungthaman Lake near Amarapura in Myanmar.The 1.2 kilometre bridge was built around 1850 and is believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world.
The construction was started in 1849 and finished in 1851.Myanmar construction engineers used traditional methods of scaling and measuring to build the bridge.According to historic books about U Bein Bridge,Myanmar engineers made scale by counting the footsteps.
