🎋 日本の夏の風物詩「七夕」 🎋
7月7日は、日本の伝統行事「七夕（たなばた）」の日です🌟
七夕には、願い事を短冊に書いて笹に飾る風習があります。
ZIZO HOUSEでも、世界中からお越しいただくゲストの皆さまに、日本ならではの季節の文化を楽しんでいただけたらと思い、小さな七夕飾りをご用意しました😊
滞在中に短冊へ願い事を書いてくださったゲストのみなさん、ありがとうございます🙏

⭐︎なぜ短冊を飾るの？
願い事を書いた短冊を笹に飾るのは、
「願いが天まで届きますように」
という願いが込められています。
昔は、裁縫や習い事の上達を願うことが多かったようですが、現在では…
・健康
・家族の幸せ
・恋愛
・旅行の安全
・夢や目標の実現
など、それぞれ自由な願い事を書きます😊
🎋 なぜ笹なの？
笹は一年中青々とした葉をつけ、生命力が強い植物です。
まっすぐ天へ伸びる姿から、昔の人は「神様へ願いを届ける植物」と考え、大切にされてきました。
旅先で日本の文化に触れる時間も、素敵な思い出の一つになりますように。

🎋 Tanabata: A Japanese Summer Tradition 🎋
July 7th is Tanabata, a traditional Japanese summer festival 🌟
During Tanabata, people write their wishes on small paper strips called tanzaku and hang them on bamboo branches.
At ZIZO HOUSE, we prepared a small Tanabata decoration so that guests from around the world could enjoy a seasonal tradition unique to Japan 😊
Thank you to all of our guests who wrote wishes on tanzaku during their stay ✨
We carefully hung each one on the bamboo.
⭐︎ Why do we hang tanzaku?
Hanging wish cards on bamboo carries the hope that:
“May our wishes reach the heavens.”
In the past, people often wished to improve their sewing skills or studies.
Today, people write many different kinds of wishes, such as:
・Good health
・Family happiness
・Love
・Safe travels
・Dreams and goals coming true
🎋 Why bamboo?
Bamboo keeps its green leaves all year round and is known for its strong vitality.
Because it grows straight toward the sky, people in the past believed it was a plant that could carry wishes to the gods.
We hope that experiencing Japanese culture during your trip becomes one of your special memories.
