For ten remarkable years, Moe Thandar Htay—fondly known as Moe—has been a trusted presence at Shangri-La Serviced Apartments, Yangon. As Service Manager – Housekeeping, Moe brings care and precision to every guest's experience, creating moments of joy that truly matter.

Her 10-year service award in July 2025 reflects her dedication and pride in being part of the Shangri-La family. Moe exemplifies commitment and professionalism, inspiring colleagues through her grace and consistency while pioneering new horizons in service excellence.

Reflecting on her journey, Moe shares: “I’ve been with Shangri-La for 10 years because it’s a place where I feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow. The culture of respect and teamwork creates a positive environment that I’m proud to be part of.”

Moe’s story began in 2003 as a trainee at the Traders Hotel, Yangon. After six years, she briefly stepped away, returning in 2015 as Service Leader of Housekeeping. Today, she proudly serves as Service Manager, having celebrated her milestone this year. Her journey is a testament to perseverance and passion—proof that careers flourish where growth is celebrated, and joy is woven into every step.
