Shwe Yo Vintage Hostel is newly opened hostel in Lanmadaw Township, Yangon. Myanmar Shwe Yo! Vintage Hostel is a newly opened Hostel at China Town, Yangon.

All staff of Shwe Yo hostel left on 31-3-2020. Before their leaving, management of Shwe Yo proposed all staff to stay at Yangon indead of traveling to home. But, all staff decided to go back home. Management did recommended all staff to report to their respective Covid 19 quarantine center instead of going straight to family home upon arrival to their town.

There are 17 guests are staying on the day of staff leaving.

Amid of the situation staff leaving us with 17 guests, our family is taking care of guests under the guidlines of township sport and health department.

Thank you Olivia Fernard, volunteer enthusiast.

Who have been at Yangon for six months, volunteering Thabarwa center, the sanctuary houses more than 2,400 yogis including aged persons, sick, infirm, blind, deaf, disabled, mental cases, homeless and helpless.

We will miss you, we will see you again.

19 July Martyr’s Day

Today, we remember General Aung San and seven other leaders of the pre independence government and bodyguard: Sao San Tun, Ba Cho, Thakin Mya, Abdul Razak, Ba Win, Mahn Ba Khaing, Ohn Maung and Ko Htwe.

In 1947 they were assassinated in search of independence.

May they rest in peace.
