I love in how you walk outside your house and see chickens running in the road and goats eating a Bush!

When I used to go to Mauritius as a child, I would love going to the beach and finding so many different seashells. I would come home with the most beautiful array of shells, all different shapes and sizes.

The last time I visited, I couldn't find any 😭 Then the day before we were leaving, I was walking along Grand Gaube beach and found one!

This is the picture of it ☺️ I brought it back to the UK and now cherish it. I will never take seashells for granted again!

Memories of Mauritius 🇲🇺 what's your favourite family or friends memory of paradise?

Mine is my son trying to catch crabs on Grand Gaube beach which is only a 5 minute walk from the Real Mauritius Apartments.

He was trying so hard to catch them but they were just too quick for him! I loved how small they were and how the hid in the sand.

Just a 7 minute walk from the Real Mauritius Apartments is this beach in Grand Gaube.

This is the photo I have on my phone and I just love the contrast of it! Greenery, blue skies, that stunning beach.

Plus my son having the best time ever searching for shells and crabs!
