In this edition of Faces We Know, Anton De Wit, General Manager of Singita, shares why Voilà Hotel has become his go-to address in Mauritius over the years. Meet Rama, our Food & Beverage Manager. ✨

If you’ve visited us at Voilà, chances are you’ve seen Rama in action. Having been part of our team for 12 years, he has quite literally seen the hotel grow, from helping open our restaurant to launching our conference spaces.

For Rama, a typical day is a non-stop rotation of morning briefings, welcoming conference guests, and ensuring every service runs smoothly. But for him, it’s about more than just logistics. He is genuinely interested in the people who walk through our doors, always making time for a chat and getting to know our guests personally.

"What motivates me every day is seeing and meeting the people around me – whether it’s our team members or our clients. It’s the true passion for hospitality," he says.

When he isn’t ensuring your coffee is hot and your meetings are seamless, you’ll likely find him on the golf course (he’s a bit of a golf addict! 🏌️‍♂️).

His message to you? "Welcome to our home. Please don't hesitate to share your wishes or needs with us. We are here to make your experience unique."
