TWIN FIN. DOUBLE WIN.

Caio Ibelli went sky-high at Sultans to claim the Twin Fin title, making it two wins from two at the 2026 Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy. Travis Logie delivered the day’s only 9.00, while glassy four-foot waves, three spectator yachts and a passing manta ray made for a Sunday worth replaying.

FIRST FIN, FIRST WIN

At pumping Sultans, Caio Ibelli found the wave he had been waiting for, threading a nine-point barrel to claim the Single Fin title ahead of Bede Durbidge at the 2026 Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy. With his wife and one-year-old son here to share it, this first win as a family of three felt especially sweet.

There is something wonderfully easy about having three bedrooms above the lagoon. Mornings begin slowly, with coffee on the deck and the Indian Ocean doing its very best impression of an infinity pool. Then everyone finds their own rhythm: a swim before breakfast, a quiet corner with a book, little feet racing towards the water, or absolutely nothing on the agenda.

By afternoon, the Three-Bedroom Water Suite at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa becomes less like somewhere you are staying and more like your own home on the sea. Doors stay open, swims turn spontaneous, and sunset has a habit of gathering everyone back together.

Fresh from New York, where Spain celebrated one of football's greatest triumphs, Fernando Llorente has arrived in the Maldives with his boots laced and ready to play.

Known as The Lion, Fernando kicked off Learn with Legends alongside our guests and the talented youth footballers from Eydhafushi, one of the local islands in Baa Atoll. After sharing tips on the training pitch, everyone came together for a friendly match that proved the best football memories aren't always made in stadiums.

And this is only the opening whistle. With six more weeks of Learn with Legends still to come, there are plenty more stories waiting to be written, on and off the pitch.
