We are writing this message with hearts that feel both full and heavy as we leave Viluveli Holiday Retreat.
It is rare in life to come across a place that doesn’t just host you—but quietly stays with you long after you’ve gone. Viluveli is one of those rare places.
From the very first moment we arrived, we were met with a warmth that felt almost like being gently embraced after a long journey. It didn’t feel like check-in or arrival—it felt like being welcomed home, even though we had never been here before.
The room was beyond anything we expected—spacious, elegant, and filled with a calmness that made time feel slower. Every detail felt carefully thought of, as if someone had prepared it not just for guests, but for people they truly cared about. The bathroom, the comfort, the view outside the window—everything carried a quiet kind of beauty that is hard to describe, but impossible to forget.
But the most unforgettable part of our stay was something much simpler.
Our little son.
The pool became his world. His laughter echoed in a way that made everything else fade away. He went in three times in just one day, and each time he came out with the same bright smile, as if he had discovered happiness all over again. Watching him so free, so joyful, in a place so peaceful… it is a memory that will stay with us forever. As parents, moments like that are not just happiness—they are something we hold onto for life.
And yet, even that was not the most touching part.
It was your staff.
There is a kind of kindness that is polite, and then there is a kind that feels real enough to reach your heart. Your team carried the second kind. Every smile, every word, every small gesture felt sincere. It felt like they weren’t just doing a job—they were genuinely caring for the people in front of them. That kind of warmth is rare, and it is something we will never forget.
Viluveli is beautiful not only because of its design, its pool, or its surroundings—but because of the people who breathe life into it. Without them, it would still be a place. With them, it becomes a feeling.
As we leave today, it feels strangely difficult to say goodbye to a place we only stayed in for a short time. Because somehow, it gave us memories that feel much bigger than the time we spent here.
We are not just leaving with photos or memories—we are leaving with a quiet feeling of peace, gratitude, and something very close to love for this place.
