A few simple takeaways:
• Most of what we found came from small, thoughtless habits; cigarette butts, snack wrappers, soft drink cans, things easily carried but casually discarded
• The heaviest areas were where locals gather the most; a reminder that change starts with each of us
• Just a few of us collected more than 20 bags of everyday trash in a short time. Imagine what we could do together?

It really is that simple. Carry it, don’t drop it.

Small actions, lasting impact and a little awareness and a shared responsibility for the island we all call home.
