CALL FOR SERIOUS INVESTOR/S TO RUN LODGE(S) IN THE TOWN OF LIWONDE, MACHINGA
Trojan General Dealers has two lodges in Liwonde Town, Machinga running by the name LODGE B.Liwonde Town is the hub of conferences, workshops meetings and trainings and thriving business in the Eastern region of Malawi hence more visitors. It is also a destination for national and international tourists who go there for game viewing and boat rides in Shire River in Liwonde National Park. LODGE B enjoys patronage from the visitors who come for meetings as well as tourists and others for accommodation, conference and catering (including drinks) services. We link some of our clients to tourism service providers within and outside the Town in Malawi.
LODGE B (Mawira) is located in Mawira Low Density Residential Area and has 11 self-contained spacious rooms, a 35 seater conference room, outside bar and is brick-fenced with a green garden. There is also a 3 bedroomed house (one self-contained bedroom) which can also be used for lodging purposes. There is a water tank which is also connected to underground water supply.Wifi infrastructure is available supported by Globe Wifi.The lodge is located in a very quiet environment. Safe parking space for cars is available.
LODGE B (TOWN)
This is located opposite Machinga ADD offices and has 5 self-contained spacious rooms all with TVs. There is a water tank to make sure water is available all the time. There is space for further developments especially addition of rooms. The lodge is fenced and there is safe parking space for cars. It is a very busy lodge since it is located in the heart of the Town.
Management of TGD is now inviting applications from serious investor(s) to run LODGE B (Mawira), LODGE B (Town) or both. The investor(s) should be ready to;
1. Add value to the lodges for their maximum profitability
2. Maintain structures, infrastructure, and equipment
3. Take care of the gardens
4. Put new furniture and permanent fixtures as may be agreed between the investor(s) and TGD Management
5. Sign a renewable 3 year contract (or as agreed by Investor(s) and TGD Management)
6. Pay business license to Machinga District Council, Ministry of Tourism and tax to MRA
BENEFITS TO THE INVESTOR(S)
1. The Lodges have already a large base of both international and local clients
2. Furniture, beddings and equipment available at the lodges can still be used by the investor(s)
3. The investor(s) can continue to use the current name of the lodge (if you so wish), ;:
The properties can be occupied by Companies or NGOs for accommodation purposes as well.
