Walk for Reforestation: Kaning’ina Community Project

🌳 This Valentine’s Day — Walk for Love, Trees & Pancakes! 🌳

Date: Saturday, February 14, 2026
Time: 5:30 AM Start
Location: Lake View Lodge & Plant Nursery, Msongwe
Route: 8km walk to Kavusi Trading Centre (M5 Road) & back
Entry Fee: Only MK 5,000!

☕ Includes:

Coffee or tea & 3 delicious pancakes upon return
Secure parking at Lake View Lodge

🌱 Reforestation Drive:
After the walk, join us as we kick off our monthly tree-planting project to restore Kaning’ina Forest and fight deforestation caused by charcoal production.
Lake View Lodge & Plant Nursery is donating the first 25 Mbawa and 25 Masuku seedlings!

Next "Walk for Reforestation" is on Valentine's Day Morning @ 5:30am for the walk to Kavusi Trading Centre & 8am for tree planting.
Free Entry for the walk & tree planting demonstration by Mzuzu Forestry.
MK 5 000 for coffee & pancakes.

Happy Feet Club Members Will have a Health walk on Saturday 10th January 2026 from 530am, from Lakeview Lodge and Plant Nursery After Msongwe Roadblock to Kavuzi Trading Centre and Back to Lake View Lodge and Plant Nursery.
