Visitors often refer to the resort as their chill out spot, it is a frequent statement: 'That's our lakeside paradise' or 'That's our go to spot' or 'Thats our families holiday getaway'. As a result, after a few conversations and some thought, we named the resort 'Kwathu' (Ours) to reflect our visitors sense of belonging and we aim to keep this sense growing. We aim to meet visitors expectations o

f an understated yet stunning location to relax and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings. Located in North Malawi on the lake shore of Lake Malawi, Kwathu Resort boasts a front row view to Malawi's beautiful lake which has the worlds largest range of tropical fish and a culture of friendliness and welcome.
